Marina Nelson is the founder of Marina Immigration Corporation and is a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) licensed under the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC) and a member of Canadian Association of Professional Immigration Consultants (CAPIC).

BACKGROUND

A desire to help people achieve their Canadian dream was the founder’s motivation in creating Marina Immigration. A lifelong resident of British Columbia and the daughter of an immigrant, Marina Nelson grew up immersed in the Vancouver-area immigrant community which included active participation within the Fraser Valley Italo-Canadian Society. Valuing the immense contributions many newcomers will make to Canadian society, it is her objective to make the immigration application process as smooth and as worry-free as possible for her clients.

Holding the Immigration Practitioner Diploma: Laws, Policies and Procedures from the Canadian Society of Immigration Consultants, with undergraduate studies in the liberal arts and psychiatric nursing, and post-graduate certificates in Economics and Accounting from Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt University in the United Kingdom, Marina Nelson has a diverse background as an entrepreneur, health care services administrator, advocate, and community volunteer. Some of her career and volunteer contributions include contracts, board positions and advisory committee memberships with the following organizations:
